Cat. #00166242: DUDLEY MANLOVE

Virtually impossible to find 10x8-inch black and white film still from Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959), boldly signed in red felt-tip pen for inveterate collector Paul Parla in the 1980s. In good condition. This is just one of three authentic examples we have encountered in over 35 years. Well-spoken, fussy radio performer and occasional film actor Dudley Manlove who was recruited by B-movie director Ed Wood, Jr. to star as Eros in Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959), in which he delivered some of the most unforgettably campy dialogue. Among our favorites of his lines is: "Stronger. You see? You see? Your stupid minds! Stupid! Stupid!" We urge our fellow Ed Wood enthusiasts out there not to miss out on this irreplaceable item.
